Still Life
I seek to preserve a sense of wonder at the stubborn beauty of our world. Contemplating what is overlooked has shown me that the extraordinary is often hidden in plain sight. The microcosm reveals the macrocosm, and the Sacred lurks within the ordinary. My fruit paintings, for example, are meditations on time: the circular bowl holding the fruit suggests the circle of life.
